Khali Henderson is one of the country’s foremost experts on channel strategy, marketing and media. She is Chief Content Officer at BuzzTheory, a B2B marketing services firm she founded in 2015 to advise high-tech companies on direct, to-channel and through-channel marketing strategies.
Henderson has more than 30 years of marketing, communications and content experience in the technology space. She is well known for her leadership as the former editor-in-chief at Channel Partners (now Channel Futures), the telecom and IT industry’s leading channel media and events brand.
In addition to helping build what is now the largest tech channel media property and event, she has developed and managed marketing and public relations programs for a range of technology companies and trade associations.
At BuzzTheory, Henderson leads business development and advises clients on marketing strategy. Forrester named BuzzTheory one of the Top 13 Channel PR firms globally and Henderson as one of the Top 5 most recommended. She also is a member of the prestigious invitation-only Forbes Agency Council.
She was recently selected to serve on the Advisory Board for the Channel Marketing Association, an organization formed in 2023 to bring together channel marketers as a community to share best practices, address common challenges, promote professional development and drive success.
Henderson also is a tech leader, serving in leadership roles for several industry organizations, including past Vice Chair of the Executive Council for CompTIA’s Emerging Technology Community.
She is a member of the Advisory Board, past Board Member and Chair of the Marketing Committee for Tech4Change, a nonprofit organization composed of technology suppliers and channel partners that support grassroots charities.
Henderson also champions women in technology through nonprofits.
She serves on the Advisory Board for Aspire2Steam, a nonprofit organization providing empowerment, education and scholarships to underserved women.
She is a member, past Board Member and former Communications Chair for Alliance of Channel Women, an organization focused on advancing women’s careers in telecom and IT. She is the recipient of the 2018 ACW ACT Award for outstanding volunteerism.
She also is a member, past Board Member and former Communications Chair of Cloud Girls, a diverse community of female technology leaders seeking to narrow the gender gap in the technology industry while providing opportunities for the next generation of women and girls in tech.
