Cheryl Rang is responsible for the business strategy, partner development and overall growth of strategic data center software and infrastructure vendors at Ingram Micro. Her team consists of more than 100 vendor-dedicated associates whose expertise encompasses the areas of vendor management, marketing, field sales, recruiting, technical consulting and inside sales. As director, her focus is leading the evolution of business initiatives around next-gen partners, hybrid cloud, data center software and infrastructure. She drives the expansion of the business with new customer recruitment as well as managing the onboarding of recent major customer wins through operational excellence and leveraging technology to drive automation for scale.
Prior to this role, Rang managed Ingram Micro’s top software vendors in the advanced solutions division, creating operational excellence and driving vendor awareness, profitability and revenue growth. She started her career with Ingram Micro in 2007 in the sales organization, working her way from a support rep to a field account executive covering the company’s mid-tier solution provider partners.
Rang holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y. She resides in Buffalo with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with friends and family.
